The Promise Season 2 Story
Season 2 Reyhan is hesitant to be married to Emir due to the fact that she does not have a strong familiarity with him. In spite of this, she makes the decision to say yes to the marriage proposal after learning that her uncle Hikmet does not have a lot of time left because of the fatal illness he has.
Reyhan starts growing her life and follows her uncle to Istanbul, where she begins a new chapter of her life. The moment she moves into Tarhun home, an abrupt shift can be seen taking place in her life.
The normal routine of the Tarhun household is suddenly disrupted. Cavidan will not wed Reyhan since she is not acceptable to her. Because she hails from a low-income household, she looks down on her and treats her with disdain.
Cavidan has the opinion that Emir's longtime friend Cemre (played by Ceyda Olguner) would be a more suitable partner for him. Cemre was born into an affluent family, and she has harboured affections for Emir for a significant amount of time. Cavidan is interested in having Cemre serve as her own bride because she believes that doing so would help her become more well known in Istanbul's high society.
On the other side, Emir does not intend to wed Reyhan at any point in the foreseeable future. In addition, he does not know her and he does not want to get married in the near future. He cannot fathom how a person would consent to have their marriage predetermined by another.
